After struggling each time lifting up a very heavy king size mattress to remove the valance for washing and again to replace I thought this valance seemed such a good idea.So glad I bought one as only having to remove the mattress once to put the Velcro strips in place the valance was so easy to attach. It will be easy to remove for washing and again to replace without the need to take off the mattress.

This valance is perfect for the older people because you don’t have to lift the mattress off the base all I did was push it to one side so I could put the Velcro on it works perfectly, also I do not have a divan bed i have metal bed frame the valance has been on for 3 weeks m Now and has never moved once
