About Us

Our Heritage

Chums is a privately owned home shopping company with the head offices based in Knowsley Business Park, Liverpool. Our founder Graham Rubin established the company in 1981 after gaining years of experience working within the trouser manufacturing industry that supplied other large mail order catalogue businesses at the time. Having realised the UK manufacturing industry was in decline, Graham spotted a gap in the market and decided to set up Chums.

Chums initially focused on selling Mens trousers, but overtime expanded the Menswear range to include suits, coats & jackets, shirts & tops, knitwear, leisurewear, nightwear, underwear and footwear. Over the years Chums have diversified and developed ranges within Ladieswear, Homeware, Gifts and Mobility.

Chums continue to operate as a family run company with Graham's sons Adam and Josh working within the business, which employs approximately 200 staff based in an 80,000 square foot unit.

Chums the Menswear specialists

Discover our latest collection of our Mens clothing, carefully considered with our customer in mind. From a wide selection of trousers including casual, leisure and tailored with many featuring elastic and hidden stretch waistbands for the ultimate comfort fit. In addition, we offer stylish shirts, jackets and a variety of knitwear, tops, nightwear and everyday wardrobe essentials. We are the experts in high quality yet affordable clothing, and we pride ourselves on our comfort-first approach to style. We cater to a range of sizes including waist sizes from 32" up to 56" (even up to 64” in selected styles) inside leg lengths from 27" up to 33" and chest sizes 38” up to 52”. Menswear brands on offer include Pegasus, Aldon, Tootal, The Fitting Room, Farah, Champion, Regatta, Jockey, Pringle, Skechers and HJ Hall.

Chums for the Ladies

Our ladieswear collection comes in sizes 10 to 26 and offers a range of stylish, flattering and comfortable styles for every occasion in a wide range of colours, fabrics and prints. Our range of trousers are available in lengths 25” to 31” and are so comfortable being elasticated and sitting on the waist. Dresses are available in lengths 41”, 43” and 46”, skirts are available in lengths 25”, 27” and 29”. Bras are available in cup sizes A to G and back sizes 34 to 50. Ladieswear brands on offer include Regatta, Amber, Triumph, Naturana and Sloggi.

Chums Footwear

The footwear range comes in a variety of styles to suit every occasion with many having touch fastening and elasticated inserts to make them comfortable and easy to put on. We offer a wide range of sizes and standard and wide fitting shoes. Ladies’ sizes are 3-8 and Mens sizes 6-13. Footwear brands on offer include Pegasus, The Fitting Room, Cushionwalk, Skechers, Padders, DB Shoes, Gola, Regatta and Dr Keller.

Chums for your Home

We have a fantastic homeware collection of bedlinen, duvets and pillows, mattress toppers, curtains, cushions and more to give a sparkling new look to your home. Many of our ranges are by the famous brand names you know and trust. We specialize in offering a wide range of items in Hard-to-Find sizes. As well as Household Textiles we offer a huge range of items to make your life a little easier around the house or garden. Everything is available for you to order from the comfort of your home and then delivered swiftly and hassle free to your doorstep. Home brands on offer include Silentnight, Christy Towels, Belledorm and Downland.

Chums also sell a great range of electrical and furniture ranges including specialist audio systems, mobile telephones, typewriters, everything you need in furniture from 3-piece suites to storage and footrests, exclusive Jigsaw sets, a wide range of space saving Kitchen items and everything for the Garden too!
