Music has the power to evoke memories from our past by stirring a range of emotions that transport us back to a particular time and place. Songs can often trigger nostalgia, reminding us of times gone by, like a first love, a milestone birthday or a holiday with family or friends. Throughout our lives, music can play a major role and act as a soundtrack.
For our latest campaign, Memories in Music, we want to create the most nostalgic playlist. We would like you to share the songs that have a significant meaning in your life and remind you of the good old days. Perhaps it's your wedding song, or a song that was popular when you were growing up, or maybe it’s a song that reminds you of your family, friends or even your favourite sports team.
Whatever song it is that takes you back in time, we want to know! To have your song featured in our most nostalgic playlist, all you have to do is send us the name of the artist, the song title and the memory you associate the song with.
You can do this by simply sharing your musical memories on our Facebook page and using the hashtag #MemoriesInMusic. Or send your song submissions to marketing@chums.co.uk and tell us why your song choice is meaningful to you. Submissions need to be sent in before Friday 5 June.
