IDEAS FOR YOUR HOME
Avoid heat escaping though doors and windows by applying a sealant to any cracks or gaps in your frames. Use a handy waterproof sealant or for windows, rope caulk can be applied easily and mess free. Before switching the central heating on, if you're only needing to heat one room a small heater can help ensure costs are kept down. Small halogen heaters are most cost efficient and can warm up your room quickly. When the radiators are finally switched on, ensure they heat your room and not the walls by adding a radiator reflector.
